US LBM received the Legacy of Impact Award from the Housing First Minnesota Foundation at their April 2026 gala in Saint Paul, recognizing decades of support from our MSP market divisions.
That long-standing partnership includes the work of Lampert Lumber, Arrow Building Center, and Lyman Companies, alongside the US LBM Foundation, in advancing the foundation’s mission to provide safe, stable housing for Minnesotans experiencing homelessness. One of the most significant contributions was to Veteran Village, a 22-unit community for veterans and their families. US LBM was a top donor, providing funding, building materials, and skilled volunteer labor from teams across MSP manufacturing sites.
“Hundreds of people across US LBM have been involved,” said Jim Fuschetto, Division Vice President of Sales for MSP, who accepted the award on behalf of US LBM. Jim previously served as President of the Housing First Minnesota Foundation Board in 2023. “We build homes every day, and it’s easy to forget how life-changing a safe place to live can be.”
The divisions have also supported multiple Housing for Heroes projects in partnership with the Housing First Minnesota Foundation, Minnesota Assistance Council for Veterans (MACV), Lennar Corp., and the Lennar Foundation.
“The US LBM Foundation is proud of the continued support that is being provided to the communities of Minneapolis and St. Paul by our Twin Cities market divisions,” said Matt Bowen, Executive Director of the US LBM Foundation. “This recognition sheds light on the great people at US LBM who support these communities and our continued support for veterans.”
